The mindDANCE Practitioner Licence is the next step after your Happy Little Humans® training. It gives you permission to deliver authorised movement-based emotional wellbeing sessions under the Happy Little Humans® brand, using approved mindDANCE resources and materials.

It’s not another course. It’s your opportunity to step into practice as a Licensed mindDANCE Practitioner.

Yes. You must have completed the relevant Happy Little Humans® training and certification for the mindDANCE Specialism(s) you want to deliver.

The licence itself does not replace training. It gives you the right to practise within the Specialism(s) you are already trained and certified in.

mindDANCE currently includes three movement-focused Specialisms:

Energetic movement designed to support mood, confidence and positive self-expression.

🎨 mindCREATE
Creative movement combining storytelling, visualisation and expressive play.

You can deliver any Specialism you are trained and certified in.

Your £495 annual mindDANCE Licence covers all mindDANCE Specialisms you are trained and certified in.

So, if you are already certified in mindFLOW and later complete mindVIBES training, your existing licence will cover both. You simply pay separately for the additional training.

Your licence gives you access to:

• Use of approved Happy Little Humans® and mindDANCE branding
• Permission to identify yourself as a Licensed mindDANCE Practitioner
• Current mindDANCE session and lesson resources for your authorised Specialisms
• Practitioner updates, guidance and resources
• Consideration for inclusion in Happy Little Humans® practitioner listings
• Permission to create an approved practitioner social media presence

Yes, but only within the permissions of your licence and in accordance with the Happy Little Humans® brand guidelines.

The licence does not give you ownership of the Happy Little Humans® brand or intellectual property.

Yes.

You are an independent practitioner and are responsible for running your own business, including your clients, venues, pricing, insurance, taxation and day-to-day operations.

The licence gives you permission to deliver authorised mindDANCE sessions and use the approved brand and resources within the scope of your licence.

No.

The mindDANCE Practitioner Licence is not a franchise.

It is designed as a stepping stone between completing your HLH training and potentially becoming a full Happy Little Humans® franchisee.

As a licensed practitioner, you must not describe yourself as an HLH franchisee or imply that you operate an HLH franchise.

The mindDANCE licence has been designed to create a pathway for practitioners who may eventually want to become a Happy Little Humans® franchisee.

If your franchise application is approved, your most recent £495 mindDANCE Licence Fee can be credited towards your franchise fee, subject to the terms of the franchise application and agreement.

No.

The mindDANCE Practitioner Licence does not provide geographic exclusivity. There may be other Licensed mindDANCE Practitioners operating in your area.

Any territorial rights provided to HLH franchisees are governed separately by the franchise agreement.

The licence is specifically for movement-focused emotional wellbeing sessions.

It does not give you permission to:

• Deliver the full Happy Little Humans® emotional wellbeing programme
• Teach or sell HLH training or certification
• Use the full OTTERLY curriculum
• Recruit or independently manage HLH franchise enquiries
• Present yourself as an HLH franchisee
• Sublicense the mindDANCE licence to another person

This distinction protects both the integrity of mindDANCE and the existing HLH franchise network.

Before your licence is activated, you will need to provide evidence of:

• A current enhanced DBS check
• Current safeguarding training appropriate to working with children
• Appropriate public liability insurance
• A signed mindDANCE Practitioner Licence Agreement

These requirements must be maintained throughout your licence period.

The mindDANCE Practitioner Licence runs for 12 months and is renewed annually.

The current licence fee is £495 per year, payable annually in advance.

That's completely fine.

If your licence expires or is terminated, you'll simply need to stop presenting yourself as a Licensed mindDANCE Practitioner and remove Happy Little Humans® and mindDANCE branding from your materials and social media.

Any dedicated mindDANCE social media page must be renamed or deactivated within 30 days.

You can request termination of your licence during the current licence period. The annual licence fee is not refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If you simply choose not to renew, your licence will end at the end of the current licence term.

Yes.

Licensed practitioners have access to practitioner updates, resources and guidance from Happy Little Humans®, along with the current mindDANCE session resources for their authorised Specialisms.

You may also be considered for inclusion in HLH practitioner listings, although inclusion is at HLH's discretion.

No.

The licence gives you the permission, brand association and resources to deliver mindDANCE, but you remain responsible for developing your own practice and attracting clients.

There is no guaranteed income, client numbers, venue access or commercial outcome.

Simply let us know and provide evidence of your certification.

Once you're trained and certified in the additional Specialism, it will be covered by your existing annual mindDANCE Licence. There is no additional licence fee for each Specialism.

It's designed for practitioners who have completed HLH training and are ready to start putting their learning into practice.

It may be particularly suited to:

• Practitioners working with children
• Teachers and support professionals
• Dance and movement practitioners
• Those wanting to offer a branded wellbeing service
• Practitioners who may eventually want to explore the HLH franchise pathway

mindDANCE focuses specifically on movement-based emotional wellbeing.

The full Happy Little Humans® franchise encompasses a much broader emotional wellbeing programme, curriculum and community experience.

The two are intentionally different, with mindDANCE providing a lower-barrier way for trained practitioners to begin delivering movement-based sessions while maintaining clear boundaries around the full HLH franchise offering.

Once you've completed your relevant training, you can purchase your mindDANCE Practitioner Licence.

To complete your licence application, provide your required safeguarding, DBS and insurance evidence, sign the Licence Agreement and, once approved, you'll be ready to step into your next chapter as a Licensed mindDANCE Practitioner.
